New Recruit for the MAD Academy

Vicki Lynskey spent many years working as a criminal lawyer, but after the birth of her two children decided she needed a change. Vicki has loved music since childhood, singing in a choir and playing violin in her local orchestra. More recently she has brought music to her local playgroup, singing nursery rhymes with the children, and to a local primary school and preschool. Her experiences showed her that by combining all her passions – working with children, music and dance – she could have the perfect career. So she joined the MAD Academy!

MAD Academy is devoted to encouraging children to have fun with music and dance. Weekly classes for babies and toddlers combine high energy music and movement with carefully structured learning. They sing lots of popular songs, as well as a few new funky ones of their own. Dance and movement are key elements of every session along with lots of fun, motivational games. Children are introduced to a wide range of musical styles and rhythms, instruments and stimulating props all designed to develop confidence, co-ordination, and social skills.

Vicki is a strong believer that children should have fun whilst learning, a principle she brings to all her MAD Academy classes! She has taken over from Helen Clarke in the Bracknell, Wokingham, Crowthorne, Finchampstead and Sandhurst areas. Along with her MAD Academy instructors, Kelly and Sarah, she is also adding new classes in Yately, Hook and Camberley.
